Gilgal is Golan Heights Winery's varietal label, made by the same team and held to the same standard as its flagship Yarden wines. The Syrah grows in rocky volcanic soil on the Golan plateau, ferments in stainless steel, and spends twelve months in French oak barrels. Medium- to full-bodied, it leads with blackberry, cherry, and plum, framed by a smoky edge and a savory note of juniper that keeps the fruit honest. Certified kosher and not mevushal.
