About Pure Wine NYC
Pure Wine NYC is a boutique wine and spirits shop in the heart of the East Village. Every bottle on our shelves is hand-selected with the same rigor a sommelier applies to a restaurant wine list. Founder & Partner Christopher Freund built wine and spirits programs at Michelin-starred restaurants including Gotham Bar & Grill and Betony before opening Pure Wine. He now brings that caliber of curation and hospitality to a neighborhood bottle shop.
We are a small team. That means you will be a key part of the operation, with direct access to mentorship from an experienced sommelier and real impact on how the store runs.
