The Huguet family has farmed Can Feixes since 1945, though wine has been made on this Alt Penedès estate at Cabrera d'Anoia since 1690. Eighty hectares of certified-organic vines sit above 400 meters near the Montserrat range, scattered across dozens of small parcels of limestone and gravelly soils. Negre Tradició is the house's patient red: Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-picked and fermented separately in stainless steel, aged twelve months in used French oak, then held more than four years in the estate's deep underground cellar before release.
