Las Jaras Sweet Berry Wine 2021

Sweet Berry Wine is the flagship red blend from powerhouse California natural wine producer Las Jaras.  Organically farmed old vine grapes (all hand-picked) sourced from Mendocino County include: 57% Zinfandel, 25% Petite Syrah, and 18% Carignan.  No additions to the fruit upon arrival at the winery, all native yeast fermentation with a total barrel time of 14 months (mix of neutral and new Burgundy and French oak barrels), bottled without fining or filtration.  Within this vintage of Sweet Berry Wine, you'll be greeted by robust aromas of cocoa powder, black plum, marionberry, forest floor, and allspice. With each sip, you'll encounter notes of blue fruit, deep cherry, and red licorice, supported by supple tannins that lead to an enduring and savory finish.
