Cave de Ribeauville Gewurztraminer Alsace France 2019

The Cave de Ribeauvillé, is the oldest wine co-operative in France, founded in 1895. The winemakers work together with the growers to ensure low yields and only hand-picked grapes. The co-op includes over 650 acres of vines surrounding the town of Ribeauvillé. This Gewürztraminer has classic aromas of rose, lychee, apricot, peach, and sweet spices such as ginger and white pepper, with hints of tropical fruit. On the palate, it is characterized by a rich texture, enhanced by a fine acidity that gives this wine precision and balance.
