Brewed by Aoki Shuzo in the snowy mountains of Niigata, Yuki Otoko, this junmai nigori sake is gently off-dry and lightly cloudy, offering aromas of sweet rice porridge and fresh cream, balanced by notes of citrus and a touch of tartness. The texture is smooth and clean without the chalkiness sometimes found in nigori styles, finishing dry and refreshing. The label features the 'Yuki Otoko,' a mythical creature from Niigata's snowy mountains, symbolizing the resilience of the locals during harsh winters. In homage to this legend, Shuzo donates a portion of proceeds to support local mountain rescue efforts.
