Winemaker Sylvain Pataille is one of the most influential figures in Burgundy, as both a top producer in Marsannay, a leader in organic and biodynamic viticulture, and as a consultant to some of the most prestigious Domaines in the region. This Chardonnay, coming from 40 year old vines in gravelly, limestone rich soils, sees 24 months of aging and 33% new oak leading to a freshness with ripe green apple on the nose and a beautiful minerality and a long finish.
