Jurtschitsch Gruner Veltliner Terrassen 2023

Alwin and Stefanie Jurtschitsch have been leading the estate of one of Austria’s most prestigious wineries.  Located in Langenlois, their focus is on minimal intervention and spontaneous fermentation.  This specific bottling comes from different vineyards around the Kamptal Valley. The fruit is hand harvested, macerated on the skins for a short time, and fermented in stainless steel.  This Gruner is crisp, fresh, and features notes of pear and tart green apple. It wonderfully compliments light starters, but also offers a great contrast to spicy or richer dishes.
