Maris Organic Rosé Cans

Château Maris has farmed the hillsides above La Livinière in the Minervois since 1997, when co-owner and winemaker Robert Eden set out to bring dead soils back to life, first with organic and then with biodynamic methods; along the way he built a winery out of hemp bricks and, in 2016, earned the estate B Corp certification. The Maris rosé in these cans is a Pays d'Oc blend of 65 percent Grenache and 35 percent Syrah made with organic grapes, pressed straight off the skins and fermented in stainless steel. Fresh citrus, ripe strawberry, and a little floral lift lead to raspberry, a hint of orange, and a soft roundness held up by gentle minerality. Each 250 milliliter can holds a third of a bottle, exactly the right amount for a rooftop, a backyard, or a day on the boat.
