Ca la Bionda Valpolicella Classico 2023

Founded by Pietro Castellani in 1902, Ca la Bionda is located in the heart of the Classico zone of Valpolicella. Unlike almost any other producer in the region, their vines are rooted in limestone-rich soils which bring out a chalky minerality in their Corvina-based wines. This organic red is a classic blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone and 10% Rondinella and Molinara. Enchanting scents of red berries dance with violets and lavender as they leap from the glass. Light and ethereal, with a flavorful mix of red cherries, black raspberries, herbs and a glint of white pepper. Enjoy with simple pasta dishes, roasted pork or grilled salmon.
