Brothers Steven and Philip DeAngelo have been distilling in Greenpoint, Brooklyn since 2010, and this can is Greenhook Ginsmiths' answer to the flat, listless gin and tonic: their own American Dry Gin combined with a proprietary house tonic, the whole thing carbonated at 45 PSI, a level the distillery tested so the drink keeps its sparkle even as ice melts into it. Citrus leads with subtle quinine bitterness underneath, at a confident 12 percent ABV in a 200ml can. A bar-quality G&T that asks nothing of you but a glass of ice, and even the glass is negotiable.
