Les Fuées lies at the northern end of Chambolle-Musigny, running up against the grand cru Bonnes-Mares: chalky soil sitting thin over hard bedrock, an easterly exposure, and a place among the commune's 24 premiers crus. Louis Jadot ferments the parcel in vats for up to four weeks and raises it 18 to 20 months in oak barrels, a long élevage for a premier cru the house counts among its most elegant, fine tannins carrying red fruit and spice with characteristic Chambolle delicacy, and 15 to 20 years of development ahead of it.
