Swick Wines Mallsoft USA 2023

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon Joe Swick works with organically (or biodynamically, depending on the vineyard) farmed grapes from a changing selection of vineyards, all located in the colder regions of Oregon and Washington State.

Swick Wines 'Mallsoft' is wine inspired by the “Mallsoft” genre of music that Joe enjoys: “I turn on the music and start tasting through the cellar and blend.” The 2023 is a blend of Aligoté, Pinot Gris, and Gewürztraminer, where each variety is macerated for 45 days on the skins, foot-stomped daily, then pressed and aged in neutral French oak.

A golden-feeling combination of dried apricot, honeysuckle, and fresh herbal aromas lead to juicy sun-warmed peach and tangerine qualities on a medium-bodied palate. Try alongside a grilled peach and burrata salad.
