Lamy-Pillot Les Castets Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Rouge 2020

The Lamy-Pillot estate was established in Chassagne-Montrachet in 1973 and extends over 12 hectares of vines in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Here, it all begins with the soil; fertile and cultivated, to foster natural interactions that give rise to a vibrant biodiversity. 

The freshness and finesse of the Saint-Aubin, 1er Cru Les Castets emphasizes its elegance and balance. The south-east-facing plot benefits from a wide temperature range, which contributes to the wine's natural balance. The soil is made up of limestone, a shallow layer of hard bedrock, and brown calcareous marl. A concentrated wine with medium tannins. On the nose, complex aromas and good fullness in the mouth with deep cherry flavours.
