Planted in 1915 on the east side of Lodi's Mokelumne River AVA, the vines grow ungrafted, head-trained, and dry-farmed in silica-rich white sand, with a scattering of Mondeuse, Cinsault, and Carignane among them. The fruit is generally picked at lower sugar, fermented with native yeast, never watered back, and aged only in neutral French oak. Dark cherry and plum lead, with a lift of violets and finely textured tannins. Passalacqua calls Zinfandel America's comfort wine; pour this one beside a slow-roasted leg of lamb and you'll see what he means.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Skurnik","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53395390988586,"sku":null,"price":39.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/purewinenyc.com\/products\/sandlands-zinfandel-lodi-california-2024","provider":"Pure Wine","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
