Cerdon is a cru of the Bugey region near Jura and Switzerland that only produces an off-dry sparkling rosé, and it’s simply magic in a glass. Renardat Fache’s organic, biodynamic offering comes from 12 hectares of dramatically mountainous vineyards sitting on slopes below the hilltop winery. Made in the Méthode Ancestrale style with 79% Gamay and 21% Poulsard grapes, the bubbles burst with a distinct red fruited mousse backed by a surprising earthiness. There’s a reason it’s known as “the happiest wine in the world.”
