La Mesma is a 26-hectare estate in the heart of the Province of Alessandria, where Gavi di Gavi—also known as Cortese—is grown exclusively. The Rosina sisters, Paola, Francesca, and Anna, farm their hillside vineyards by hand with minimal intervention, allowing the region’s mineral-rich soils and cool elevation to shape the wine naturally. This wine is crisp and finely tuned, with aromas of citrus peel, white peach, and wildflowers. The palate is clean and gently textured, with subtle stone fruit and a faint saline lift on the finish. A precise and refreshing expression of Cortese that speaks clearly of place and as well as the passion of these remarkable winemakers.
